Temesgen Teklemariam (PhD) Board Secretary

Temesgen Teklemariam serves as the Board Secretary on STEM Synergy’s Board of Directors, advocating for STEM education as a driving force for national development and innovation.

Currently, he is a Senior Aerodynamics Engineer at MDS Aero Support Corporation, where he specializes in advanced aerodynamic design and optimization. Previously, he worked as an Engineering Specialist at Bombardier Aerospace for five years and at CENAERO (Belgium), focusing on compressor and fan aerodynamics and aero-structure design.

Temesgen has published multiple research papers on topics such as compressor and turbine blade design, aircraft wing optimization, and computational fluid dynamics (CFD). His expertise spans programming (C++/Python), design of experiments (DOE), and response surface approximation techniques.

Before moving abroad, he served as a lecturer at Addis Ababa University’s Chemical Engineering Department. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from Addis Ababa University, a Master’s in Computer-Aided Process Design and Chemical Engineering from IIT-Roorkee University (India), and a Ph.D. in Mechanical and Industrial Engineering from Concordia University (Canada).

As a licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in Ontario, Canada, Temesgen applies his knowledge to bridge STEM research with real-world applications, furthering STEM Synergy’s mission.
